Summer School

PLEASE DON’T FORGET: 

Summer school begins at 8 am on Wednesday, May 27th

Sports Physical

All student-athletes who will be enrolled in 7th – 12th grades must have a physical to participate in sports.

Physical papers are available in the school office if your athlete has not already had their physical.

OSSAA Dead Week

The OSSAA does not allow any student-athletes to use ANY athletic facilities during Dead Week.

This includes the gyms, weight rooms, and all fields.

This will start on June 27th and end on July 5th.

Any Oklahoma Students can Enroll at Tyrone

Tyrone School is accepting new students. Students do NOT have to live in the Tyrone School District, but they must have proof of an Oklahoma address.

 The Tyrone Public School System believes the ultimate purpose of education is to help each student become effective citizens in the democracy, and to develop and accept the responsibilities and obligations of good citizenship.

 

Board of Education District Goals

All students will have the maximum opportunity to learn the skills of reading, thinking, computing and communicating. Improve the achievement level of the school's student population. Integrate study disciplines at each grade level to increase student's understanding of our multicultural world. Provide programs designed to enhance student self-esteem, including, but not limited to preventing harmful addictive behaviors. Provide a school climate that offers a safe, orderly and positive environment. Provide continuing education opportunities for the staff.
